Big Data analysis is taking over as a critical component in a variety of industries, ranging from gaming and AI to marketing and consulting. As it becomes a crucial part of day-to-day business, join us for a conference that will provide you with an insight into its capabilities and potential.

Within the general theme of “The Fusion of Business and Technology”, this conference will focus on the rise of Big Data and its perhaps not yet fully understood impact on business in the future. Hear from industry experts who will share their experience and provide hands on workshops for you to boost your understanding of Big Data. Come and get a chance to build your network, and visit Imperial’s own data centre.

We have a range of confirmed speakers from industry-leading companies as well as start-ups and are looking to confirm a few more this week.

The conference welcomes students and staff from all different faculties at Imperial College London, as well as students and professionals from outside the College.

Last year in 2016, the committee organised a very successful conference titled "Big Data - Destination Unknown?" with industry leading speakers from McKinsey, King, IBM - Watson on the topic of the rise of Big Data.
